166. Standing in the Gap for Families with Jillana Goble
How comfortable is your life?
Sometimes we get so comfortable and inward-focused in our own lives that we fail to see the people in need around us. The truth is, there are children in need of safe and loving homes, and there are parents who are lost and stuck in addictions and other hardships all around us.
So what can we do about it?
We know not everyone is meant to be foster parents, but there are other ways to come alongside these children and families. In today’s episode, we had the opportunity to talk with Jillana Goble about this very topic. Jillana is a speaker, author, and advocate. She is also a mother of 5 children (foster, biological, and adoptive).
Over the last two decades, Jillana and her husband have navigated the twists and turns of foster care and learned many valuable life lessons along the way. We hope you will join us as we discuss foster care and the many different ways we can contribute to this community.
Episode Highlights:
