146. The Mother of All Fights with Erin Soto
This week’s episode has a fantastic guest - motivational speaker, author, wellness activist, Stage 3 cancer survivor, wife, and mom - Erin Soto. Today, Erin graciously dives into her story and her fight with cancer, and we are just so excited to share her with you.
As so many parents can relate to today, Erin got used to the hustle and bustle of life as a hamster on the wheel, but everything changed for her, and life came to a screeching halt in November 2019 when she received a Stage 3 colon cancer diagnosis. Erin knew that she needed to find a way to live beyond the crisis that she was just confronted with and took a deep, inward dive. “What does life look like as I face this fight? If I come out of this on the other side, what about life do I want to teach others?” She wrestled through these questions and knew that she wanted to inspire others to shift their perspective from auto-pilot to living with a purpose regardless of what life’s circumstances brought their way.
